Jigarthanda Double X Teaser : ‘Double Masala’ this time

2014 Tamil action comedy Jigarthanda made a killing at the box office. Starring Siddharth and Bobby Simha in the lead roles, the Karthik Subbaraj directional is billed as a one of its kind gangster drama that cut across all sections of audiences in different languages.
Now, Karthik Subbaraj has decided to bring a sequel to this commercial potboiler with the title ‘Jigarthanda Double X’. The regular shooting of this much-anticipated sequel started rolling this Sunday and the makers have unveiled a kind of teaser that promises another raw and rustic entertainer with a double dose of mass elements.
The three-minute teaser serves as an intro to the lead characters played by SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence. It presents them in contrasting styles and promises an intense face-off as they prepare to take on one another in an epic battle.
The teaser starts with SJ Suryah entering the scene with a harmonica and blows it to draw the attention of Lawrence who is seen working on the weapons in the nearby shack. Lawrence then makes an intense and ferocious entry with a stunning makeover. Suryah aims at Lawrence with his hands and signals the gang of ruffians to take on him. Lawrence doesn’t blink an eye but unearths a gun and aims at Suryah with a menacing smile. The pulsating score rendered by Santhosh Narayan sets up the tone for this terrific teaser.
Going by the teaser, it seems like Karthik Subbaraj is going to deliver another full-length masala entertainer again with loads of action and entertainment.
