Uppena Movie Review
Uppena, a story of a young couple from east Godavari districts. Vaisshav tej’s debut and Devi Sri Prasad music has created much hype which helped production Mythri Movie Makers to get good deals. Let’s take a look at the Uppena movie review and how it would impress the audience.
Story : Vaishnav Tej is seen as Aasirvadham aka Aasi and Krithi shetty is seen as bebamma aka Sangeetha. Aasi and Bebamma are from two different castes. Aasi is from a fisherman family and Bebamma is rich. Aasi admires her from his childhood and at one stage where Bebamma falls in love with him. There comes our villain of the story, Rich dad, Bebamma’s father Raayanam (Vijay Sethupathi). The story is all about how Raayanam struggle to keep his pride alive.
Analysis : Uppena with all much created hype live alive after the release. Director Buchi Babu Sana is impressive, he dint miss any detail of the film. Love is more precious than pride and lust. Even the story is predictable, cinematography and Krithi Shetty’s pretty eyes will mesmerize us. The relation between father and daughter is well written. Last minute changes of sukumar definitely helped the film.
Watch : Uppena Trailer : Hardcore Love
Performance : Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty are perfect apt for the roles. Vijay Sethupathi and his style is the asset to the film. Background score is ok, but Devi Sri Prasad impressed with tunes. No where the film got negatives to talk about. Everyone is perfect. Buchi Babu is perfect with his debut film as well as Vaishanav Tej. Vijay Sethupathi’s rugged look and packed performance steals the show. Perfect casting helped the film more.
Negatives : Being a debut hero and debut director nothing to point out.
- Vijay Sethupathi
- Buchi Babu direction
- Vaishnav Tej
Verdict : Uppena an emotional love story between poor and rich from two different castes. Definitely an dream come true film for Vaishnav tej and Buchi Babu.
