Check movie has been released worldwide with huge expectations because intelligent presenter Chandrasekhar Yeleti has added a commercial slot to his mind game concept for the first time. Analysis : Nithiin is Check released with huge expectations. As this is a movie from Chadrasekhar Yeleti who delivered movies like Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Prayanam, Sahasam and Manamantha the expectations are huge. This is the first time he added a commercial slot to his film, but failed to impress. Check no where near to reality. Director has taken so much freedom over the script, which will disappoint the audience.
The flashback episodes narration is not good and missed carrying the rapport as the director showed flashbacks in installments. A Criminal playing chess with a judge granddaughter on court premises. First half is impressive and creates hype in the second half. Second half is completely in jail and lost the grip on the script. Sai Chand is exceptional in his character, few scenes carried out wonderfully only because of Sai chand’s performance.
Twists in climax are okay. Wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier’s debut is impressive. Rakul Preet Singh is as usual impressive, this time with less glamour exposure.
Kalyan Malik’s music is gripping. His background score is impressive, but fails to impress with song. While the movie consists of only one song and that song should definitely impress the audience, but failed to. Cinematographer Rahul Shrivastav is impressive. Visuals are unbelievable.
Performance : Sai Chand and Sampath Raj are impressive. Sai Chand as fellow prisoner of Nithiin steals the show. Sampath Raj plays the cop role and one of the antagonists. Murali Sharma and Posani are good in their roles as well.
Nithiin as a terror convict is impressive. After seeing Nithiin in all commercial slots, he is undoubtedly impressive and stands as the key player for the movie. He reinvented himself with Check.
Positives :
Nithiin and Sai Chand performance
Story
Negatives :
Narration fails
Kalyan Malik’s music
Climax
Verdict : Only because of high expectations from Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s gripping narration Check failed to impress the audience. This is a routine commercial film with a different story. Climax as an absconded terrorist disappoints. Which make us feel half cooked commercial film and a half cooked new concept film.
