Krishna Vrinda Vihari Review Rating : 2/5

Naga Shourya after a flop like Lakshya came up with his next film Krishna Vrindha Vihari, in his home production, IRA Creations. Bollywood actor and social media celebrity, Shriley Setia, debuted in this film as lead actress. Annish Krishna wrote and directed the film after his Gaali Sampath. Let’s discuss about the film, now.

Plot:

Krishna Chari (Naga Shourya) is the son of Amruthavalli (Radhika Sarathkumar), who is treated as head of the village because her “words come true”. Krishna goes to Hyderabad from their “orthodox” family to join as a Technical Trainee. But his intention is to fall in love a girl and marry her.

He falls for his Team Leader Vrindha (Shriley Setia) and she finds secured with him. To protect herself from Project Manager (Amitash Pradhan) who is creepily torturing her to love, Vrindha moves friendly with Krishna. Finally, Krishna proposes to Vrindha and she accepts as he readily accepts her health condition. He lies to his family to make them agree for their marriage. What is that lie? What happens due to that? Watch the movie to know more…

Analysis:

Few films tend to overcook everything they want to offer. This film overcooks comedy scenes and emotional scenes. Even actors overcook their expressions and dialogue delivery in every scene. It feels like director Annish Krishna asked each one of them to act more than they can and also beaware that they are acting. Even ever dependable Radhika Sarathkumar, Annapurannamma sleep walk through their scenes. Right from looks to characters, characterisations everywhere director makes it obvious to make this one look like of mock of many movies. At times, we get memories of Ante Sundaraniki with similar story but the writer and director of that film showed more maturity and sensibility than this one.

Exclusive: Parasuram to team up with Vijay Devarakonda again

Naga Shourya tried to ease out himself from his regular self but that came across as his over action than real or at least bearable performance. He needs much better scripts and directors to polish his potential. Shriley Setia looked good and in few scenes did express well but she doesn’t seem like seriously committed to acting. If she does, she needs to work on few more expressions. Radhika Sarathkumar, Nagineedu, Annapurnamma get worst possible roles. Vennela Kishore, Satya manage to bring few laughs. VFX and production design are bad to even mention. Music director Swara Sagar proved that he is much better than this album before. Cinematography is bad too. On the whole, this movie proves to be a bad version of Julaka Taka and Ante Sundaraniki.

Positives:

  • Music and BGM
  • Shirley Setia looks

Negatives:

  • Naga Shourya’s performance
  • Comic Scenes
  • Irritating Narration
  • Amatuerish Writing
  • Over Acting by actors

Krishna Vrinda Vihari Review Rating : 2/5
