FIFA World Cup: Deepika Padukone gets a rare honor

Deepika Padukone is one of the star heroines in Indian cinema. The actress is working hard to make an impressive mark at the box office consistently. She has achieved a name and fame outside India as well, for the amazing work she do in Bollywood. Now, she added a unique feather to her cap by receiving a rare honour.
Deepika will be heading to Qatar to unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy. She is one of the few celebrities who have received this honour from India. Very few have got a chance to do the honours and this once again proves the craze she has all over the world.
Not just Deepika but few other Bollywood celebrities will also be taking part in the FIFA World Cup. Siddhant Chaturvedi, who was most recently seen in ‘Phone Bhoot’, will feature in the official FIFA World Cup anthem. The anthem will be released during the FIFA World Cup final.
On the other hand, Nora Fatehi was also a part of this football event. She performed at the FIFA fan fest event.
“India is not a part of the FIFA World Cup, but we are now, in spirit. Through our music, through our dance,” she revealed, ahead of her performance.
