On the day 16 of the FIFA World Cup Edition 2022 two more exciting matches to follow. Darkhorse Japan takes on 2018 runners up Croatia in the first match. Japan finished at the top with 6 points in the group stages. The Samurai blues defeated the European Supergiants Germany and Spain to send the shock waves in the tournament but lost to the underdogs Costa Rica. Japan will be hoping to beat Croatia by repeating their performance against Spain and Germany. Players to watch out are defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano. Meanwhile Croatia finished second in their group with a win against Canada and two draws against Morocco and Belgium. Andrej Kramaric, Marko Livaja and their captain Luka Modric are the players to watch out.

In the second match five time champions Brazil will face South Korea. Brazil finished at the top in its group with two wins over Serbia and Switzerland and a loss against Cameroon. Richarlison, Casemiro and Thiago Silva are the players to watch out. Meanwhile South Korea finished second in the group with a win against Portugal, draw against Uruguay and a loss against Ghana. South Koreans have a very good forward line up Cho Gue-sung, Hwang Hee-Chan and Son Heung-min are the players to watch. Brazil are 6-1 against South Korea in their previous seven meetings. South Korea will be hoping today to overcome the Brazil for a quarterfinal spot.
