12th Day Complete highlights on FIFA World Cup 2022

On day 12 of the FIFA World Cup Edition 2022 4 Matches were played which decided the qualification to the round of 16. Japan and Spain from Group E.
In Group F Morocco and Croatia entered the knockout phase. Morocco outclassed Canada 2-1, Ziyech and An Nesyiri scored for Morocco and Aguerd slotted for Canada. All the goals were scored in first half and the second half was goalless. It was simply a repeat of 1986 for Morocco which topped the group to enter into knock out phase after 36 years. Croatia held Belgium to a goalless draw and Belgium messed up lot of scoring chances and made an early exit from World Cup.
In the group E Matches Japan bounced back to beat Spain 2-1 from 1-0 down in the first half. Japan scored two goals in 3 minutes in the second half to top the Group.
In the Germany VS Costa Rica match Germany trailing 2-1 after a own goal by Neuer in the 70th minute to defeat Costa Rica 4-2 by scoring two goals in the last five minutes of the match to end up in third place with 4 points which lost to Spain on goal difference in the points table and making early exit from World cup.
On day 13 of the FIFA World Cup Edition 2022 four matches in Group G and Group H of two matches each in a group will be played. In group G Brazil has already qualified for knock out stages. In Group F Portugual has sealed the spot for round of 16, while a draw will be enough for Ghana and Switzerland to move into the round of 16 depending on the results of South Korea Vs Portugal and Brazil Vs Cameroon respectively. South Korea, Serbia, Uruguay and Cameroon has to win against their opponents to enter the knock out stages in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
