Story :
Srinivas Sripada (Allari Naresh) is a school teacher and will be assigned election duty to a tribal area (Maredumilli). Srinivas comes to know the pathetic situation of the tribal fighting for their basic amenities. Srinivas then stands beside them and fights against the government. When one among them rejects to vote and that particular person will be murdered by the local politician, Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam’s movie story will hook up.
Analysis:
Allari Naresh is choosy nowadays with his scripts. Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is a decent attempt by the actor. He will see as a Telugu teacher and carries his role with utmost perfection. Anandhi’s role might have been written much more good in the second half. But she carried her part in a perfect way.
Vennela Kishore with his mannerism impress again. Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is written and directed by AR Mohan. A decent attempt, a routine story with emotions. We sometimes make reference to the Hindi film Newton. Annayya murder and the story around it were nicely written, but nothing new.
Love Today Movie Review: A new age entertainer
Newton (Story – An election officer who visits a remote area to contest an election) and here in Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam the story will be extended with murder and hero’s support to the people of Maredumilli. Army sequence will disappoint in between.
Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is a decent attempt with missed perceptions. At times we feel, whether beating Allari Naresh will save the film. Vennela Kishore and Praveen are the only relief. All other actors are one among the crowd. Background score fails. The cinematography of Raam Reddy captured the locales well.

Shritej, need to be mentioned separately when it comes to performance. After Allari Naresh his presence as a local guy is perfect. Particularly at the Interval block, Shritej with both negative and positive facets steals the show. Allari Naresh as usual impressive and looks a little aged. As a Telugu teacher, he is apt. Instead of performance, he has lengthy dialogues also. The elevation scenes worked well. Anandhi has done her part but is restricted in the second half.
