Bhediya Movie Review
Varun Dhawan dubbed his Bhediya in Telugu as Thodelu and released it on the same day in Bollywood and Tollywood. Let’s take a look at Bhediya/Thodelu Movie review.
Bhaskar Sharma(Varun Dhawan) is a civil contractor. He will be hired by a big shark (Saurabh Shukla) to cut the forest of Arunachal Pradesh. One full moon day Bhaskar will be bitten by a wolf in a** after starting his road contract work in Arunachal Pradesh. Later, Bhaskar will be completely turned into a wolf. He will be taken to Anika’s (Kriti Sanon) veterinary doctor for treatment. Did Bhaskar finish his road contract? Whether he became normal? Whether Anika saved Bhaskar? We have to watch the film for answers.
Bhediya/Thodelu is a message-oriented film. Director Amar Shukla gave a message through gender-related dominance in Sthree and now with Bhediya, he gave a message about environmental issues. The makers need applause for their view. The film is packed with entertainment and got a good cast. Varun Dhawan has given the best performance to date. Abhishek Banerjee needs to be mentioned for sure. He is the one beside Varun Dhawan who carries the story. Paalin Kabaak is also great addition. The film got the classy VFX and hilarious one-liners.
Varun Dhawan, Varun Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, this is the best performance from him. Kriti Sanon as a local veterinarian gives her best. The never-ending string of juvenile jokes, this credit should be given to the writer. Bala is disappointed, But with this Bhediya Amar is back on his flight. There is no horror in the film and packed with full entertainment. Building a creature with CGI work is done beautifully like teeth sharpening, tail sprouting, hair sprouting and back flexing. We see some preaches in the film in support of the environment, which will be washed away with fun.
The first half has silly comedy like Kriti Sanon’s introduction scene and a few dialogues from the locales of the place. But sooner the director gets the grip over it. When it comes to the second half movie is lagging and the dose of fun gets down. A film with some more serious moments might have plotted the message strongly. The story lifts up very soon in the film. Kriti Sanon as Dr Anika got the best screen timing and was impressed with her performance. Abhishek Banerjee, who is known for his villainism impresses in Thodelu with comedy. Writer Niren Bhatt has moulded the writing part very well. Varun Dhawan while transforming from human to wolf is the best-ever performance. Bhediya is really enjoyable.
Bhediya with a stretched climax turns out to be a one-time watchable film. If you are Varun Dhawan’s fan, just go grab your ticket now and watch the film. You will have a feast as a fan.
