Radhe Shyam Review : Classy and Visually Rich
Telugu audience are opening up to sports based movies and therefore film makers are trying this new genre daringly. But unfortunately in most of the movies, story is taking a routine route instead of focusing on new concepts with in sports genre. In most of the sports movies, we see a failed hero taking on politics in sports administration. Clap also falls in the same category.
While that was on story and screenplay front, Aadi Pinishetty excelled as an athelete and coach. He has acted quite naturally in the scenes where he has to appear as an athlete who lost his leg. Krishna Kurup as young athlete is fine. Akanksha Singh does a matured performance within her scope. Roles like these are cakewalk for seasoned performers Nasser and Prakash Raj.
One good aspect about Clap movie is, it is an Ilayaraja musical. Nice to hear Ilayaraja’s music. Praveen Kumar’s cinematography is decent. Director Prithvi Aditya has done a sincere attempt. Those interested in sports dramas can watch Clap.
