Fans and general audience are equally shocked with the news of divorce of Thalapathy Vijay and his wife Sangeetha. The news has been spreading like wildfire since morning. The claims started after someone said that information of their divorce was reported on Wikipedia. This led to further spreading of the news. However, on checking Wikipedia, this was proven to be false. Our close associate with Vijay’s family said that this information is completely false and baseless. This provided a sigh of relief to everyone as the couple is considered to be “marriage goals”. Vijay and Sangeetha met in 1996 after the release of Vijay’s film “Poove Unakkaga”. She flew all the way from UK to meet him which left Vijay mesmerised. He later invited her to his home and the couple soon fell in love. They married in 1997 and are blessed with two children. The reason for the start of rumours might be the absence of Sangeetha from Vijay’s next film Varisu’s pre-release event. Sangeetha also didn’t attend Atlee and Priya’s baby shower event. However, it’s is reported that Sangeetha is holidaying with her children in USA and Vijay might soon join them after the release of Varisu which is due to release on 11th of January along side Ajith’s Thunivu.
