Trisha Krishnan back in the limelight

Trisha Krishnan is one of the fewest female actors with longevity in South cinema. After ruling the roost during her heydays by sharing screen space with almost all top-league male actors of Telugu and Tamil, Trisha confined herself to doing only female-centric films with performance-oriented roles. Despite appearing in less number of films in recent years, Trisha continued to charm the audience with her everlasting glamour.
Trisha’s recent outing Ponniyin Selvan 1, directed by Mani Ratnam, put her back in the limelight. Her top-notch performance as princess Kundavai in this magnum opus received plaudits from all quarters. Now, she is getting big ticket offers again after a while. Reportedly, she has been approached to play the leading lady in Thalapathy Vijay’s 67th film and Ajith Kumar’s new film with director Vignesh Sivan.
Trisha is the forerunner for both of these crazy projects which are much anticipated in Kollywood circles. It will be a big boost for her career if she returns to glamourous roles in big-budget films. She also signed a web series and a couple of medium-budget films which are in different stages of production.
