Is Ajith’s #AK61 out of Diwali race?

Ajith Kumar has earned huge stardom in Tamil Cinema. He is well known in other languages too as his movies released in Telugu, Malayalam. He did Shah Rukh Khan’s Asoka film as well.

But the actor’s market did not grow as much as his contemporary Vijay. Tamil people pit both of them against each other as both have equally huge market and stardom in Tamil diaspora.

But Vijay with better subjects has been concentrating on improving his market in other languages. Ajith is trying like Vivegam, Valimai but he is unable to crack the universal hit formula. His Mankatha kind of films did receive more appreciation.

Now, Sivakarthikeyan who is firmly growing as a huge star, has announced his next film Prince postponement to Diwali. He had to massive hits in Doctor, Don recently. Anudeep who made Jaathiratnalu is directing Prince.

Jayam Ravi’s Iraivi, Karthi’s Sardar are also set for Diwali release. Normally, if Vijay or Ajith announce their film releases for a date, most of the other heroes tend avoid clash with them. Only Rajnikanth or Vijay and Ajith look to clash in general. With these many movies announcing Diwali date, it seems inevitable that Ajith’s next has been postponed to another available date.

Currently, Ajith is touring around Europe on his bike and he will return in July. The shoot involving his portions will continue from July and currently, portions that don’t require him are being canned with Manju Warrier and others, say sources.
