Buzz: Aishwarya Rai to reunite with Ajith after 2 Decades

Kollywood’s star hero Ajith Kumar recently came up with his new film Thunivu. It was released during the Pongal festive weekend and collected good money at the box office. Ajith is gearing up to start his new project with director Vignesh Shivan. This movie is tentatively called AK 62 and will go on the floors very soon.

If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, AK 62 will feature two heroines. It is already reported that Trisha will play one of the female leads in the movie. The latest reports revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would play another female lead role in the film.

Aishwarya and Ajith acted together in the 2000 film Kandukondain Kandukondain. After a gap of 23 years, she is reuniting with Ajith once again. Meanwhile, Trisha and Aishwarya worked together in the recent blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan. They will be teaming up once again for this movie.

We also hear that Santhanam will come back as a comedian with this movie. Senior actor Aravind Swamy will play the antagonist in it. Kaithi and Vikram fame Arjun Das will be seen in a key role. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project.
