Trisha clarifies on ongoing rumours

Even after completing two decades of her acting career in the South, top league actress Trisha Krishnan is continuing to charm audiences with her graceful screen presence. Despite not getting any big-ticket projects, the ‘Gilli’ star stays relevant because of her longevity in South cinema.
Recently, an unexpected canard about Trisha started to float in media circles. That is about her political entry. It is rumoured that Trisha will join the Indian National Congress. Reacting to these rumours, Trisha clarified she has no such plans to make entry into politics. She further stated that she cannot understand what is the base for these rumours.

It is a known fact that Trisha is a great admirer of the former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Jayalalithaa. But, there were never any rumours in the past regarding her political entry.
She is currently busy shooting for a couple of web series. Reports emerged that she is in consideration to play the leading lady in Thalapathy Vijay’s next film with Lokesh Kanagaraj. An official confirmation is yet to be made in this regard.
