Tollywood turning against Dil Raju

Dil Raju is one of the popular producers in the Telugu film industry. He is currently producing Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu, a Tamil film that will also release in Telugu as Vaarasudu. He is fighting to bring more theatres for the film against the straight Telugu releases, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Meanwhile, he triggered a controversy that Vijay is a big star in Tamil than Ajith, and Vijay’s film should get more theatres.
On the other hand, he is going against this statement by bringing more theatres to his dubbing film Vaarasudu when compared to the Telugu films Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. Both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are big stars than Vijay in Telugu. The two senior Telugu heroes also have a big market in Telugu. But their films are being allotted less number of theatres.
For instance, in Vizag, Dil Raju blocked 6 screens for Vaaradudu. Now, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are stepping into the scene to get more theatres for their respective films. If the buzz is believed to be true, both the Telugu films will be getting four screens each for their films.
Yesterday, Dil Raju was trolled for his comments that Ajith is a big star than Vijay. Later, Dil Raju had to explain his comments after his comments were blown out of proportion. Going by his logic, he should also give more theatres to the stars in Telugu states.
With Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna entering the scene, let us hope that Dil Raju mend his ways and give more theatres to the Telugu films.
