Waltair Veerayya is an emotional rollercoaster ride : Chiranjeevi

Ahead of the film’s release on January 13th, the pre-release event of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya was held grandly in Vizag on Sunday.
In his thirty-minute speech, Chiranjeevi demonstrated high confidence in the film and predicted it would emerge as the biggest blockbuster in his career. He billed it as an emotional rollercoaster ride and a perfect commercial potboiler packed with many ingredients that will cut across all sections of audiences. He lavished praises on director Bobby for making this a wholesome entertainer with his hard work and dedication. He said Bobby is a perfectionist in Narration, Story writing, Screenplay, and Direction.
Chiru revealed he green-signaled Waltair Veerayya project in the first sitting itself after listening to the script for one and half an hour. He said films that he okayed in the first sitting turned out to be blockbusters and said this is another film destined for the same result. He extolled Bobby to the sky for taking every suggestion given by him seriously to fine-tune the script every day from the start. Chiru also clarified that he didn’t give the opportunity to Bobby because of the latter’s admiration towards him but for his high talent and skill. Chiru praised Bobby and his team of writers for working day and night to bring a quality output. Chiru spilled the beans that there are two high-octane action blocks in Hollywood range in the first thirty minutes of the film.
Chiru’s speech was laced with humour and confidence. He amused the crowd with his funny jinks throughout his speech and made a mockery of his inability to keep important details in the story under wraps. He divulged a couple of important scenes in the film. Chiru appreciated the producers of Mythri Movie Makers and hailed them as one of the biggest production houses in the history of Tollywood akin to Ashwini Dutt, Allu Aravind and Rama Naidu. He said producers like Mythri Movie Makers are very much necessary for the progress of the industry. He wished best of luck to Veera Simha Reddy and hoped that both films will emerge as super hits during the Sankranti season.
Talking about Ravi Teja, Chiru revealed his longtime association with him. He said Ravi Teja brings a lot of energy to the sets. He also revealed that Ravi Teja enters the story in the second half of the film. He thanked the Mass Maharaja for accepting this film despite his hectic schedule.
Chiru appreciated Shruti Haasan’s impressive performance and said she complemented him very well in songs. He also praised Urvashi Rautela for sharing screen space with him in the item song. He also thanked all technicians and other artists who worked their skin out in making this film a big hit.
At the start of the speech, Chiru rated Vizag as a beautiful and peaceful place and said people here are soft-hearted and innocuous without any vice. He also revealed that he bought a few acres of land near Bheemili and wishes to settle in Vizag after retiring from movies.
