Vijay Devarakonda mulling over other options

Vijay Devarakonda is twiddling his thumbs as the shooting formalities of his present film ‘Kushi’ are stalled due to the unavailability of Samantha. According to the latest reports, Samantha needs some more time to recover from her health issues. Director Siva Nirvana and his team are eagerly waiting for Samantha’s return to the sets to wrap up the pending portions.
Vijay initially planned to wrap up Kushi by the end of this year and take up new assignments in 2023. Unfortunately, his plans didn’t work. He wasted nearly three months without any shoot. His previous film Liger flopped badly at the box office. In the meantime, he was grilled by the enforcement directorate regarding the funding of Liger. So, he is not happy with the recent developments in his career.
According to the latest update, Vijay is now pondering to start working on his next projects putting Kushi on hold temporarily until Samantha’s return. Vijay recently met Gautham Tinnanuri and heard the script. He liked the narration and asked the Jersey director to come up with a complete draft. He has a couple of other options as well. He might announce a new project in January next year and start shooting for it immediately.
