Thalapathy Vijay, one of the most popular stars of Tamil cinema who is ready with the release of his Sports Action flick “Bigil” directed by Atlee, featuring Nayanatara in the female lead, the actor has made a public appeal to his fans not to erect any cutouts and banners after knowing the tragic situation of Subhasri family. The death of 23-year old Subhasri who was killed in an accident after an illegal flex banner put up by an AIADMK party fell on the two-wheeler she was riding and was crushed under the wheel of a water tanker. The High court ordered that Rs 5 lakh should be collected from erring officials and given to the family of the victim as compensation.
With the voice of Public, The Political parties in Tamilnadu asked their cadre not to erect illegal banners, flexis and cutouts any more. This menace of competitive cutouts with wasteful practice of milk abhishekams can hopefully be effectively banished from the Tamil Nadu with this tragedy.
