Surender Reddy gets injured on the sets

Hotshot filmmaker Surender Reddy suffered a minor injury to his left leg while directing a shot in Akkineni Akhil’s upcoming film Agent. As per reports, the incident happened recently while they were shooting an important sequence in Hyderabad. The Race Gurram director was rushed to the hospital immediately by the team and he got treated there for his injury. Doctors advised him a few days rest to recover fully. But, Surender Reddy decided not to take rest as the film is getting ready for release this Summer and continued work despite his injury. The shooting formalities are nearing completion and the post-production activities are also in full swing.
Agent is billed as a spy thriller in which Akhil plays a secret agent. Legendary actor Mammoty is essaying a significant role and Sakshi Vaidya is the female lead. Surender Reddy is making this a slick action drama with breathtaking stunts and lavish technical values. Akhil’s stunning makeover generated a terrific response and created solid hype for the film. But, the long delay has turned out to be a spoiler. The film was supposed to hit the screens in August last year. It was postponed indefinitely several times. The makers are yet to finalize the release date.
