Exclusive: Real reason behind Sudheer Varma’s suicide

Young Tollywood actor Sudheer Varma, who acted in films like Second Hand and Kundanapu Bomma, died by suicide on January 23rd in Vishakapatnam. It was reported in mainstream media that he consumed poison due to financial issues. But, an exclusive source revealed that the actor was in acute mental depression for the last few years and this was the main reason which forced him to take the extreme step.

The source informed us that Sudheer was quite dejected as he was not getting offers in films. He was very disturbed and was going through psychological trauma as none of his close friends helped him during his tough times. As there was a dearth of offers for him, Sudheer started working in a private company in Hyderabad. But, he still hoped for heydays in the film industry.

It is also heard through the source that Sudheer left home and consumed poison before Sankranti and returned only last week. He disclosed about the consumption to his family members and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad. Later, he was shifted to Vizag where he succumbed to the infection. He was 33. His father passed away a few years ago. He was living with his mother in Hyderabad.
