Shankar preferring Kamal over Charan

Hitmaker Shankar Shanmugam is sailing on two boats at a time. He is simultaneously directing two pan-India projects, one with Kamal Haasan and the other with Ram Charan. He is shooting for one film for a few days and then shifting attention towards the other film. Due to this strategy, both films are getting delayed. While Kamal’s film is the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster social drama ‘Indian’, there is no update about the genre and other details about Ram Charan’s film( Tentatively titled RC15) so far.
Shankar is reportedly concentrating on wrapping up Kamal Haasan’s film first and getting it ready for release this year. He is preferring to shoot ‘Indian 2’ than Ram Charan’s 15th film. According to the latest buzz in industry circles, there is a considerable portion of shoots left for both films. So, if Shankar plans to release Indian 2 this year, there are good chances that Charan’s film will get pushed to 2024.
Producer Dil Raju is also aiming big with RC15. He wants Shankar to come up with a solid output and also allow him to take adequate time for post-production activities and promotions. In all probability, Ram Charan fans are likely to be disappointed because they might have to wait longer to see their favourite actor on the big screen after RRR.
