Sankranti films hinge on Emotional Content

Sankranti biggies – Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy and Varasudu are carrying good reports from inside sources. The promotional content of all three films that have been released so far received a phenomenal response and set high expectations in audiences. While the teasers, posters and songs hint that all three films are going to offer a mass feast for moviegoers, it is said that they are packed with a strong dose of emotional content which will be the key to their success at the box office.
During the recent press interaction, Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed that the story of Waltair Veerayya is a routine one but there is a lot of emotion in it which makes the film a special one. He said director Bobby made this film an emotional rollercoaster that will impress the audience. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy is also said to have heart-wrenching emotional performances by the leading cast. The emotional scenes between Balayya and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar are said to be the major highlight of the film.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Varasudu is also going to be an emotional family drama with a good dose of action. Producer Dil Raju revealed during the pre-release event in Chennai that the film is dedicated to all parents. Director Vamshi Paidipally is known for delivering emotional outings like Oopiri and Maharshi. He is once again banking on emotional content to score another big hit at the box office.
Besides catering to mass audiences, all these three big-ticket films are likely to tug at the heartstrings of audiences with their emotional scenes.
