Sankranti biggies neck and neck in promotions

2023 Sankranthi will witness the clash of arch-rivals from Tollywood – Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna with their upcoming films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Tamil superstars Vijay and Ajith are also in the fray with Varasudu and Thegimpu.
Teams of Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy are aggressively promoting their films as the release dates are fast approaching. After five years, both Chiru and Balayya are competing at the box office and trade circles are betting big on both their films. Meanwhile, Vijay’s Varasudu is also giving good competition with crazy content.
All three films are now neck and neck in the race with the promotional content released so far. The three songs unveiled from Veera Simha Reddy received a thumping response. Balakrishna’s intro, duet song with Shruti Haasan and item song have all set very high expectations on the film. The powerful teasers with mass dialogues have already created massive hype for the film. The trailer is expected to be out in the first week of January and it is likely to augment the buzz further.
Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya is also treading a similar path to Veera Simha Reddy. The ‘Boss Party’ and ‘Sridevi Chiranjeevi’ songs emerged as chartbusters. The electrifying mass teaser with vintage Chiranjeevi’s mannerisms has set high expectations for the film . Now, the makers are gearing up to release the third single soon as a counter to the item song of Veera Simha Reddy. They are also planning to release a mass trailer in the first week of January to double the hype on the film.
Meanwhile, Varasudu team is also catching up with the race with its aggressive promotional strategies. The songs that have been released so far created a solid craze on the film. Varasudu is targeting family audiences, unlike the two Telugu biggies which are aiming to cater to mass audiences.
