‘Salaar’ producer gives an exciting update

Expectations are quite mammoth for Prabhas’ upcoming film Salaar which has KGF 2 director Prasanth Neel at the helm. The shooting formalities have been progressing at a brisk pace and the makers have already announced that the film will hit the screens on September 28th, 2023. Hombale Films, the production house behind KGF and Kantara, is pooling money bags for this highly anticipated pan-India film which also has Prithviraj Sukumaran in a significant role.
Speaking in a recent media interaction, Vijay Kiragandur, one of the producers of Hombale Films, revealed some exciting updates about Salaar. He said 85 percent shoot has already been wrapped up and the remaining portions will be completed by January. He added that the VFX effects will need six months and the film will arrive in theatres in September without fail. Vijay is confident that Salaar has the potential to emerge as the biggest hit of his production house by surpassing the records set by the KGF series.
I saw the rushes of Salaar and it is an out-and-out actioner that will stun moviegoers. Prabhas and Prithviraj did a great job in their roles, said Vijay. He also informed that they are in plans to make Salaar a franchise and also hopeful of bringing a sequel to Kantara.
