KGF director Prasanth Neel and Baahubali actor Prabhas are coming together for a heavy-duty action spectacle titled Salaar. The regular shooting of this big-budget entertainer has been progressing at a brisk pace for the past few months and the makers have already locked September 28th 2023 as the film’s release date.
Salaar features an ensemble cast in the form of Shruthi Hassan, Jagapati Babu and a few other notable actors. Now, the cast got bigger with the inclusion of noted South actor Pruthviraj Sukumaran in a prominent role. The first look poster of the Lucifer and Ayyappanum Koshyium actor from Salaar has been unveiled this Sunday morning on the eve of his birthday.
In the menacing poster, Pruthviraj Sukumaran is seen sporting a rough and rugged avatar as a tribal with a nose ring and a coil around his neck. He plays Vardharaja Mannar in the film. The intensity in his eyes and the dark theme of the poster reveals that he plays a negative role. The confrontation between Prabhas and Pruthviraj is likely to be the biggest selling point for Salaar. Needless to say, Prasanth Neel seems to have pulled a casting coup of sorts for this highly anticipated film.
KGF makers Hombale Films is the production house behind this pan-India project. Ravi Basrur is rendering the soundtrack..
