Saindhav to Venky is what Vikram to Kamal

Veteran heroes down South are finding it difficult to select scripts that match their age and stardom. The success percentage of their films is on the lower side. Actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Mohan Lal to name a few are struggling to score hits as they are unable to entertain moviegoers due to a lack of solid scripts that suit them. One Tollywood actor who is quite choosy about his roles these days is Victory Venkatesh. After a lot of contemplation, Venky signed his landmark 75th film Saindhav which will be helmed by talented director Sailesh Kolanu of ‘Hit 2’ fame. The first glimpse received a thumping response from all quarters because it presented Venkatesh in an explosive and kick-ass avatar. In the brief teaser, Venky is seen with earnest mannerisms in his mission which is filled with action and challenges. His stern warning to the henchmen in the backdrop of a port hints that the film is going to be a full-on actioner.

Venky’s mannerisms and appearance remind us of Kamal Haasan in his recent blockbuster ‘Vikram: The Hit List’. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directional presented Kamal in a never-before-seen role filled with myriad emotions. Kamal’s screen presence and his striking transformation received rave reviews and helped the film garner a unanimous response.

Now, it is believed that Saindhav will be on the lines of Vikram. Sources close to the team revealed that Venky’s get-up and his body language are similar to that of Kamal Haasan. The film will be an out-and-out actioner filled with intense drama and emotions. There are many twists and turns in the story that will leave viewers in awe.
