Ravi Teja’s massive hike shocks producers

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is on a career-high after scoring two consecutive hits with Dhamka and Waltair Veerayya. His energetic performance in both these films made a big difference to the outcome and resulted in solid numbers at the box office despite their routine stories. After going through a lean phase with a string of low-performing films in the last few years, Ravi Teja reinstated his market this year with two big hits. Now, there is a lot of buzz about his upcoming films which are in different stages of production.
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja hiked his remuneration massively as he scored back-to-back hits. Previously, he used to demand around 20 Crores as remuneration. But, now he is quoting not less than 25 Crores for his future projects. Producers are shocked by the sudden hike in his remuneration. Ravi Teja feels that his films have the potential to do around 75 Crores business including all rights before release. He is confident that producers can pocket table profits if they work with him.
This is not the first time Ravi Teja’s exorbitant remuneration shocked producers. He frequently revises his remuneration as soon as his films release irrespective of their performance. In the past, producers were surprised by the sudden hike despite his flop streak. He now got a good reason for quoting a bigger price as his last two films gained huge traction with moviegoers.
