Rajamouli receives the prestigious NYFCC Award

A few weeks ago, SS Rajamouli was announced as the winner of the Best Director category at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards 2022 for his film RRR. He was presented with the award last night in New York. Rajamouli attended the event with his wife Rama Rajamouli.
Both Rajamouli and Rama Rajamouli chose to wear Indian ethnic wear for the event. With their traditional attire, they grabbed everyone’s attention at the ceremony. After receiving the award, Rajamouli said that Americans loved the film and went crazy for it just like Indians. He thanked them for showing so much love on RRR.
Rajamouli also thanked his team including lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. He thanked audiences for making RRR a global blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli will now travel to Los Angeles to attend the Golden Globe Awards on January 10. RRR was nominated in the Best International Film and Best Original Song categories for these awards. Along with Rajamouli, lead actors Jr NTR, Ram Charan and the film’s music composer MM Keeravani will also attend the event.
