Puri or Vinayak, who will get chance to direct Chiru ?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently awaiting the release of his Sankranti film Waltair Veerayya which is slated to hit the screens on January 13th. Chiru is busy promoting the film aggressively. He is highly confident that Waltair Veerayya will cater to the expectations of moviegoers and will emerge as a blockbuster during the festive season.

Chiru will now shift focus to his next film Bhola Shankar in the direction of Meher Ramesh. After Bhola Shankar, Chiru is supposed to work with young and talented director Venky Kudumula. However, the project has been shelved due to unknown reasons. There are several directors in the race to helm the God Father actor’s next film.

Reportedly, both seasoned directors Puri Jagannadh and VV Vinayak are desperately waiting to get the nod from Chiranjeevi. Sources revealed that Puri Jagannadh has already started working on the script that will suit Chiranjeevi’s present image and mannerisms. He is confident that Chiru will approve his script this time. He was supposed to direct Chiru’s 150th film. However, the project didn’t materialise due to script issues.

Meanwhile, VV Vinayak is also trying his best to prepare a solid script for Chiranjeevi. He previously worked with him for Tagore and Khaidhi No 150. Both films clicked well at the box office. So, there are good chances for him to convince Chiru. A concrete news about Chiru’s next project is likely to be out very soon.
