Team Salaar in a big dilemma

Baahubali actor Prabhas fronted pan-India tentpole film Salaar is scheduled for release on September 28th. Almost 85 percent of the shoot has already been wrapped up and the team is gearing up for the next schedule which is going to commence this week. After wrapping up the shooting formalities, there will be a lot of post-production work due to which the makers have decided to release the film in the second half of this year.

As per reliable sources, the production house of Salaar is mulling to change the release date based on when will Prabhas’ mythological drama Adipurush hits the screens. Adipurush was initially supposed to unspool in theatres on January 12th. But, it was pushed to June 2023 due to pending VFX works and other reasons. There are rumours in circulation that Adipurush might get postponed further as the makers are looking for an ideal date other than June 16th to release the film.

If Adipurush gets postponed again, there are chances that Salaar might also get a new release date. Team Salaar is in a big dilemma over the release date. They are waiting for clarity from Adipurush makers to announce their plans.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy shooting for Maruthi’s film and Project K. He is planning to wrap up all films this year. He is yet to commence his long pending project with ‘Arjun Reddy’ director Sandeep Reddy. He is also in talks for a film with Siddharth Anand.
