Pooja Hegde turns unlucky again

Pooja Hegde scored back-to-back debacles at a crucial juncture in her career. Last year, she bagged the career biggest hit with Allu Arjun’s Ala Vykuntapuramlo. This year is the busiest in her career with multiple big-ticket roles. Unfortunately, she couldn’t continue her success streak as all four films failed to bring her any credit let alone making money at the box office.
Pooja Hegde pinned many hopes on Prabhas’ pan-India film Radheshyam. It ended as a huge disaster. She played a brief yet important role in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya as Ram Charan’s romantic interest. The Koratala Siva directional turned out to be an epic disaster. She then tested her luck in Kollywood with Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast which also exploded at the box office.
After scoring a hat-trick of flops, Pooja wanted to end the year with a decent hit through the Bollywood film Cirkus. The Ranveer Singh starrer opened to embarrassing reports this Friday. There is no trace of appreciation for Pooja’s performance in this Rohit Shetty directional. Critics have come down heavily on this comedy caper for its shoddy attempt. It is clear that Pooja has bagged the fourth flop of the year.
Pooja needs a big hit to turn her fortunes. She will next team up with Mahesh Babu for Trivikram’s family entertainer.
