Pawan Kalyan keeps directors in waiting mode

Pawan Kalyan is striking a balance between politics and movies. He is shooting for his upcoming films and also taking part in various political activities. He already has director Krish’s period film Hari Hara Veera Mallu which has been progressing at a snail’s pace. Up next, he is gearing up to commence a multi-starrer project in the direction of Samutrakani. Sai Dharam Tej is playing one of the lead roles in this film which is the remake of the Tamil fantasy film Vinodhaya Saitham. The regular shooting of this film will commence in February.
Despite these commitments and the forthcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan agreed to do two more new films. But, there is no clarity on when both these films will start rolling. Though these projects were officially announced by the producers, Pawan is yet to allot dates for them. He has kept the directors in waiting mode. Sources revealed that Pawan is yet to chalk out the dates for these films due to his busy schedule.
As the elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to be held in 2024, Pawan is planning a road show all over the state. If it materializes in the coming days, both these films might get delayed further. There is still some pending portion of Hari Hara Veera Mallu to be shot. Also, Vinodhaya Saitham remake will take a couple of months of his schedule. So, it is unlikely that any of these new films might start in the first half of this year. The wait for Harish Shankar and Sujeeth continues.
