NTR trolled for aping American accent

RRR actor NTR is a polyglot and he mesmerized audiences in different regions by speaking in local languages while promoting the film in various states. His strong command over different languages and his perfection in diction surprised everyone. But, his English accent came under huge criticism due to its exaggeration and artificiality.
He is currently campaigning for the Oscars and attending several awards festivals in the West. In an attempt to woo western audiences, NTR spoke with an unnatural American accent during his recent media interaction. His simulated accent appeared to be a forced one in an attempt to gain attention rather than trying to be natural.
The affected speech is now going viral on social media and subjected NTR to huge trolling and criticism for trying to seek attention which is not required. There is no point in trying to be pretentious as a non-local can never speak the same accent of a particular language as the locals do.
NTR dominated the promotions of RRR and was the cynosure of the media in different states of India. He stunned everyone with his Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada accent because of his near-perfect diction. But there is a difference between English and Indian languages. He seems to be trying too much to win the approval of audiences wherever he goes.
