Nikhil Siddharth is on top of his game with the success of Karthikeya 2. The Chandoo Mondeti directional emerged as a pan-India blockbuster and handed the career’s biggest hit to Nikhil. With this success, he ended his long-flop streak and consolidated his position in the second tier. He is now aiming to cap off 2022 on a high note by scoring the second hit of the year.

After scoring a massive success with Karthikeya 2, it is expected that Nikhil’s upcoming films will generate strong buzz in trade circles and audiences. However, that’s not happening for his next film ’18 Pages’ which is gearing up for release on December 23rd. As the film’s release got postponed several times and also because many reshoots were done, there is hardly any hype about the film. The promotional content didn’t excite the audience much.

But, Nikhil is confident that the association of big names with this project will do the magic. Ace director Sukumar penned the script and his protege, Palnati Surya Pratap, is the director. Also, Geetha Arts 2 is the production house behind this film. So, there will be adequate promotions before the release to build up the hype. Nikhil is confident that the brand value of Sukumar and GA2 will ensure good openings despite the low buzz among moviegoers.

18 Pages is billed as a romantic drama which is gearing up for release on December 23rd. It stars Anupama Parameshwaran as the female lead.
