Naga Chaitanya to work with critically acclaimed director

After a disappointing 2022 with Thank You and Lal Singh Chadda, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is looking forward to a bright and successful 2023. He is currently busy wrapping up his forthcoming cop drama Custody which has him playing an upright constable who fights against the corrupt officers in the police department.

After Custody, Chaitu will team up with critically acclaimed filmmaker Venu Udugula. Close sources in the industry revealed that producer Naga Vamshi of Sitara Entertainment banner is going to pool resources for this film which is likely to be an action entertainer with an intense plot point. Venu Udugula is known for delivering thought-provoking subjects. He won critical applause for his narration in Rana’s Virata Parvam and Sree Vishnu’s Needi Naadhi Oke Katha. Both films received critical acclaim but failed to make money at the box office.

Chaitu is desperate to make a strong comeback. He is choosing scripts that are laced with strong content. He is impressed with the narration given by Venu Udugula and agreed to work with him. The regular shooting will commence in Summer.
