‘Mythri Movie Makers’ achieves a rare feat

‘Mythri Movie Makers’ is arguably the leading production house of Tollywood right now. The trio of producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri launched it way back in 2015 and made a blockbuster debut with Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu. There is no looking back since then as they gained a firm foothold in Tollywood with their aggressive stride in making back-to-back big-ticket films.
In no time, Mythri Movie Makers teamed up with star heroes and directors to deliver huge box office hits. They tasted some failures too but that didn’t demoralize them in bringing content-oriented films. They achieved a rare feat by working with many top league actors of two generations in just these seven years. After working with Mahesh Babu, they joined hands with other leading actors like NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. They also worked with second-tier top heroes like Nani, Vijay Devarakonda and Naga Chaitanya. They delivered the biggest blockbuster for a debut actor with Uppena which starred Panja Vaishnav Tej.
After entering the scene in 2015, they upped the ante with more films each year and by 2023 they are going to complete 25 films of production which is going to be another great achievement. They have lined up films with Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna during the Sankranti festival and will follow them up with the much-awaited Pushpa 2, NTR31 and Ustaad Bhagat Singh and RC16 films in the next couple of years.
Mythri Movie Makers has secured a rare distinction by becoming the first production house of Tollywood to have done films with nearly all top-league actors in such a small period after their debut. It took more than a decade for other leading production houses of Tollywood to get the dates of big stars. But, Mythri Movie Makers managed to set hit combinations in no time. Sources revealed that they are planning big in the coming years.
