Mahesh agress to start ‘SSMB28’ after Sankranti

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 28th film marks his third collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas after Athadu and Khaleja. After a grand launch last year, the regular shooting also commenced simultaneously in Hyderabad. Unfortunately, this project faced various stumbling blocks due to script issues. This has put a temporary hold on the shooting formalities.
Meanwhile, Mahesh directed Trivikram to change the script as he was not fully convinced with the output in the first schedule. So, Trivikram readied a completely new story and got the green signal from Mahesh Babu. It is a family entertainer with a dose of action.
Reportedly, Mahesh agreed to join the sets in the third week of this month. He returned to Hyderabad after a brief vacation in Switzerland. After the Sankranti festival, he will join the sets. Trivikram is planning to wrap up the film in straight schedules without any pause. He wants to complete the entire shoot by the end of Summer.
Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of this untitled film which is expected to hit the screens in the second half of this year. SS Thaman will render the soundtrack.
