The Yash-starrer KGF-2 has announced its theatrical trailer release date today. The much awaited movie will be releasing in theatres worldwide on April 14. The theatrical trailer of this high voltage action entertainer will be launched on 27th March 2022 at 6:40 pm. KGF PART 1 was released in 2018 and received huge success at the box office worldwide. Following the success of KGF part , its sequel has been shot with a budget of Rs 100 Cr, making it the most expensive kannada film. Part 1 ended in a cliffhanger making the audience wanting for more. But delayed production meant the film had to wait for sometime and due to the pandemic worldwide, KGF Part 2 has been delayed for almost 4 years.

Pushpa transcends KGF

New characters have been added in the second part in Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen, Prime Minister Of India. Prakash Raj as Vijayendra Ingalagi, this role was previously helmed by veteran actor Anant Nag. The veteran actor has parted ways with the film due to creative differences with makers. Sanjay Dutt has been cast as Adheera, who is the main villain of the film. The movie is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the production company Hombale Films. The film would be released in Kannada with dubbed versions being Tamil, Telugu , Hindi and Malayalam.
