Handling big-ticket films is no mean task. There will be a lot of pressure on the production houses to make sure that fans of star heroes don’t get hurt by different aspects like promotions, release plans, updates, etc. The onus will be on the producer to satisfy them from the day of announcement till the time of release.

This Sankranti posed a litmus test for two big producers of Tollywood. While Dil Raju messed up things, Mythri Movie Makers have managed to live up to the expectations. Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu is struggling in all aspects from the start. A lot of controversies surrounded Varisu from the beginning due to Dil Raju’s attitude. Moreover, the trailer and promotions also didn’t impress Vijay’s fanbase.

Meanwhile, Mythri Movie Makers put in their best efforts for both Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. They met all deadlines without any deviation. They released superb content for promotions and handled everything else perfectly. Even though both Chiru and Balayya are arch-rivals at the box office, the production house pulled off everything so smoothly without hurting their fans. It is also planning to get the biggest-ever release for both these films in all territories.
