Dhamaka Success Boosts mass director

Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina is riding high on the success of his latest film Dhamaka which emerged as one of the biggest hits in Ravi Teja’s career. He initially worked as a writer for soap operas in Telugu channels before turning a director in Tollywood. He made his directional debut a decade ago but hogged the limelight only with the success of Natural star Nani’s Nenu Local. His previous film Hello Guru Prema Kosame tanked heavily at the box office. But, he made a strong comeback with Dhamaka.
Trinadha Rao is known for narrating typical commercial entertainers loaded with mass elements. There are a very few directors who are sticking to this time-tested template and scoring hits. In Dhamaka, he utilized Ravi Teja’s full potential and managed to score a big hit at the box office. This timely hit is a big boost to his career as this is a make-or-break film for him. He is now looking to grab more projects under noted production houses.
After the success of Dhamaka, Trinadha Rao got immense confidence in his narration. He is planning to revive his long-pending project with Victory Venkatesh. He narrated a script to Venky long back. But, due to unknown reasons, it didn’t materialise. Now, there are good chances that this project might be revived very soon. Top production house Mythri Movie Makers is planning to pool resources for this project. They have already paid some advance to Trinadha Rao.
