Waltair Veerayya clears censor scrutiny

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya is the first among all Sankranti releases to pass the censor scrutiny. The makers have readied the film well ahead of its grand release on January 13th to avoid last minute rush. The censor team issued a U/A certificate with no cuts and beeps. With this, all activities have been wrapped up and the movie is ready for a massive release during the Sankranti festival.
Waltair Veerayya is set in the backdrop of Vishakapatnam and Chiru plays a mass role in it. The first-look teaser and chartbuster songs have created a massive buzz and set up high expectations for the film. The theatrical trailer is expected to be out later this week and the makers are confident of generating more buzz on the film. Chiru is highly confident that the emotional elements in the story will strike a chord with the moviegoers.
Directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby, Waltair Veerayya has Ravi Teja in a significant role. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady. Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack and Arthur A Wilson handled the cinematography. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind this big-budget entertainer.
