Chiranjeevi trusting his directors, to move ahead

The forgettable box office result of Acharya has put Megastar Chiranjeevi in a lot of embarrassment. It came as a warning not to take the audience for granted owing to his star image and demi-god status.

Out of frustration, many fans even demanded Chiranjeevi to shelve some of his upcoming films which are helmed by inexperienced directors, and advised him to come up with better scripts. But, Chiru has complete faith in his script selection and also trusts his directors. He feels that many factors worked against Acharya and not just the script which led to its downfall at the box office. So, he has decided to go ahead with his next projects.

It is a known fact that Chiranjeevi has lined up four projects after Acharya. While Tamil director Mohan Raja’s God Father is nearing completion, he has Meher Ramesh’s Bolo Shankar and Bobby’s Waltair Veerayya. One more film with director Venky Kudumula is yet to go on floors.

Chiru feels that all these scripts have good potential to satisfy the audience and there is no necessity to keep any of these projects on hold. Many felt that Chiru might put some of these films on the back burner after Acharya’s result. But, he has a strong conviction on the scripts and is also confident that the inexperienced directors are highly talented and can extract the best from him to deliver quality output.

Contrary to the ongoing rumors, all these projects are on track and will release one after another in the next few months. But, the fact is that Chiru is taking extra care and making sure that all these films have a minimum guarantee at the box office.
