Chiru takes a subtle dig at Balakrishna

Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy promoting his Sankranti release Waltair Veerayya which is hitting the screens on January 13th. During one of his recent media interactions, Chiru took a sly dig at Balakrishna in a subtle manner.
When the interviewer asked about his opinion on Allu Arjun who is not relying on the popular ‘Mega hero’ tag and also for not using his references while attending promotions, Chiru assertively replied that there is no need to resort to such tactics regularly as it will lead to undue criticism from fans. Chiru said even Charan will be mocked by his fans if he keeps blowing the trumpet all the time about the achievements of his father.
Though Chiru cited Charan as an example, his comments seemed to be aimed at criticizing Balakrishna who has the habit of exaggerating the greatness of his father and legendary actor Sr. NTR quite often. It is well known that Balakrishna often boasts about the achievements of NTR during his public appearances for movie-related events. He keeps parroting NTR’s legacy and goes to the extent of saying that there is no other person in the world who could match his father in politics and movies.
Chiru seems to have taken a dig at Balakrishna indirectly in a subtle manner. Balakrishna made harsh comments about Chiranjeevi and his family during several media interactions. But, Chiru never retorted to those unnecessary comments. However, he took an indirect route to take potshots at Balakrishna
