Celebrity designer succumbs to depression

Depression has claimed one more life. Hyderabad based celebrity designer Pratyusha Garimella committed suicide at her residence on Saturday at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

According to Circle Inspector, Banjara Hills, Pratyusha was found lying in unconscious state in her bathroom on Saturday and she was immediately shifted to Osmania hospital where doctors declared her dead. Police have seized a carbon monoxide cylinder from her residence and a case has been registered.

The 35 year old has a self-styled fashion brand on her own name – Pratyusha Garimella and has many celebrity clients from Tollywood – Rana Daggubati, Niharika Konidela, Krithi Shetty etc. Ram Charan’s wife Upsana is also one of her clients and a close friend.

Reports suggest that Pratyusha has been in depression from so many days. A suicide note is also said to be retrieved from the spot but the details in the note are not revealed to the media.

Upasana took to her Twitter blog to express condolences to the departed soul. She posted

My bestie my dearest friend.
Gone too soon – Upset/ Pissed / Sad
She had the best of everything, career, friends & family – yet succumbed to depression.
Post this incident, truly believe that karmic baggage passes through lifetimes.
We pray for her peace. ?
