Bigg Boss Season 6: Winner Revanth got less prize money; Here’s why

Bigg Boss Season 6 has come to an end. Revanth became the tittle winner while Srihan stood as the runner up. But there’s a twist here. Before announcing the actual winner by the criteria of voting, King Nagarjuna went inside the Bigg Boss house with a golden briefcase carrying a worth of 25Lakhs and offered it to the top two contestants.
Though initially both refused, Srihan obliged to take an amount of 40Lakhs after a majority of contestants and even his parents asked him to take the cash. This left Revanth with an amount of only 10Lakhs but he was adamant on winning the title and gifting it to his new born daughter.
Thus, Revanth became the title winner. It was expected from day 1 that Revanth is going to be the winner but there was a twist. King Nag announced that Srihan would have actually won by a small margin of votes over Revanth. This was quite an unexpected scene even for other contestants who thought Revanth would win by votes.
Revanth’s aggression and behaviour did bring him some negativity while Srihan’s behaviour with Inaya and Keerthi was negative to him, although his way of talking, calmness and entertainment was much loved my the audience.
Eventually, it seems like Srihan did get the best out of the show while Revanth also ended up happy as his dream to gift the title to his daughter has been fulfilled. A win win for the duo indeed.
