Another box office turkey for Tamannaah

Milk beauty Tamannaah scored another flop in 2022. After tasting decent success earlier this year with F3 : Fun and Frustration, Tamannaah bagged consecutive flops with Babli Bouncer and Plan A Plan B. She pinned a lot of hope on her romantic entertainer ‘ Gurthunda Seethakalam’. Unfortunately, the romantic entertainer evaporated from theatres so quickly without drawing even the slightest attention of moviegoers.
The last time Tamannaah impressed audiences was in F2: Fun and Frustration. Her performance in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s period drama SyeRaa also fetched some brownie points. Since then, she was unable to make an impact because none of her films saw her in substantial or meaty roles. Though she occasionally sizzled in special songs in big-ticket films, Tamannaah was unable to grab plump offers.
In Telugu, she has Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Bhola Shankar. She has a couple of offers in other languages. If Tamannaah wants to stay in contention, she badly needs a solid role that has good scope for performance.
