Double treat on New Year for Akkineni fans

Akkineni fans have been eagerly waiting for updates from their heroes. Nagarjuna is yet to finalize his next project. Naga Chaitanya and Akhil are currently busy with their upcoming films. While Chay is shooting non-stop for his bilingual film Custody, Akhil is busy wrapping up his long-delayed spy thriller Agent.
As per reliable reports, this New Year is going to be special for Akkineni fans as there will be a double treat. The first glimpse of Custody is going to be unveiled on January 1st. The cop drama is being helmed by Tamil director Venkat Prabhu. The intense first-look posters have evoked a good response from moviegoers. Chaitu plays a determined and upright constable in this gripping commercial fare which is slated for release on May 12th.
The suspense on the release date of Akhil’s Agent is also going to end on January 1st as the makers are planning to announce the date with a striking poster. The Surender Reddy directional is on the sets for a long time and it was postponed a couple of times. A perfect release date has been finalized and it will be announced this New Year.
Akkineni fans have pinned a lot of hopes on both of these films. Thank You and Lal Singh Chadda failed to satisfy them. Only Banggaraju managed to collect decent numbers. Akhil’s last film Most Eligible Bachelor also got a lukewarm response at the box office.
