83 WC winning team paid hefty before the movie hit the floors

Just three days before the grand release of 83 movie, it has been screened specially for some Bollywood critics. The critics rated it as one of the best films of the year.
Everyone is lauding the performance of Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev followed by the execution of director Kabir Khan. And it was known that before shooting any biopic, he/she need to be paid to get the rights.
The Reliance Entertainment which has been bringing ’83’ epic moment on the big screens was said to be paid to the entire team that was associated with the 1983 World Cup-winning team. As stated by Bollywood Hungama, Reliance paid around 15 crores to the 83 world cup winning team.
The Lion Share of 5cr was said to be given to Kapil Dev. ’83’ movie will release across the globe on 24th December in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
