2022 marks the strong comeback of Samantha

Along with many good films & magical box-office numbers of Telugu Cinema, 2022 has also seen the string comeback of Samantha. Needless to say, post her ‘Oh Baby’, Samantha has gone through a divorce with Naga Chaitanya which subjected her to many trolls over the internet.
She also mentioned in an interview that she thought she’d die from of the separation and wouldn’t survive it. Post all the bashing, baseless controversies, rumours and many such, she received so much support from many stars openly on the shows, like Ram Charan, Rana, and Tarak, which is followed by their fans taking a stand against the bullying against her on the social media.
Her first film post her divorce was ‘Kanmani Rambo Khatija’, which is a dubbed film from Tamil. Although it was a box-office hit in Tamil, the film didn’t release in Telugu as the makers opted for an early OTT release. After that, she came with ‘Yashoda’ along with the news that she announced that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Myositis. ‘Yashoda’ had a decent run & numbers post its release.
Apart from this Samantha has ‘Shaakuntalam’ directed by Gunasekhar, ‘Arrangements of Love’ marking her international debut and ‘Kushi’ with Vijay Deverakonda & director Shiva Nirvana.
